Hi! Welcome to Kokopelli's Surprise Rabbitry and Hen House!
I specialize in helping children learn how to handle, carry, and care for their new bunny friend, as well as assisting families in setting up safe and stimulating indoor environments for their new family pet. It is important that everyone is on the same page, about how to introduce their bunny to already existing family pets, as well. Please take some time to read all the wonderful information that is available on the web (especially the House Bunny Society's information), and stay in touch with me, after you take your bunny home, if you have any questions!
And don't forget to take some time to come back later and look at all the "information pages" on this site - I am adding things regularly to provide accurate information about how to house, feed, groom and care for your bunnies and chickens, so they will stay healthy and happy once they come to live with you!
All bunnies require a $10 non-refundable deposit to hold them for you, if you want to choose them ahead of time and wait to pick them up later. If they haven't been picked up by the agreed-upon date, they will become available for others to reserve/purchase. I try to be fair, however, and if there is a "reasonable reason" to hold it longer for you, I will try my best to accommodate you. I know that life can interfere with the best of plans, so as long as you communicate with me and work out a new date/time to pick your bunny up, that works for both of us, I am OK with that!
In the meantime, please contact me at KokopellisSurprise@gmail.com and tell me what you are looking for. Or complete one of our Contact Forms, to specify in more detail what you are interested in. Without your CONTACT INFORMATION, I can not determine who you are if you only fill out the "Interested In" questions. I won't be able to follow up with you.
If you want to call me, my cell phone is (901) 282-1366. Just give me a call anytime after 6pm (I work full time at St. Jude, so I can't discuss bunny stuff during the day on a weekday.)
I do not ship live animals, so all sales require "purchaser-pick-up". I will happily work with you to find a date/time that is mutually convenient and if need be, a location within a 30 minute drive of Memphis for you to pick up your bunny. I recently had knee replacement surgery and can't drive any further than that.
In the meantime, may God bless you and keep you, and may you find your bliss---wherever it turns out to be!
This is a picture of the young Kokopelli, when he was thought to be a girl and named Daisy. He is now quite a bit bigger and more masculine looking, and continues to earn his new name, Koko, by "doing his duty" whenever given the chance. Hopefully, he fathered some beautiful kits recently, with Cottontail. Check "In The Nest Box" to see who's waiting for a "Forever Home" !!
